Alexis in Portland
I started this blog in 2006, when I moved to San Francisco. In summer of 2011 I moved to Portland so my husband could launch his startup with his business partner, who lives in the area. I’ve been self-employed for over four years, so my job is pretty mobile; I work in the social media space helping small businesses, startups and personal brands grow and maintain their web 2.0 presence. In my first career (one that involved going to work at 12am) I was a news producer, most recently at current tv.
Though I’ll more or less be taking some time off in the near term, I’m also pursuing my M.Div. at Fuller … haven’t quite figured out how that will work in Portland since the nearest Fuller campus is in Seattle …
